Dear Dr. Karen:
Your contribution to the Vital Voices Global
Partnership program has permitted ten highly
motivated women leaders from Russia to learn from the
experience and expertise of their American counterparts
on the issues of leadership essentials and how to appear
confident - as well as current women leaders and the
importance of grit, gravitas, and grace. The
participants have expressed appreciation for the
fruitful meetings and discussions, and commented that
their enthusiasm for effecting positive change in
Russian society has mounted due to the knowledge and
vision gained in the process of learning.
We would like to thank you for your presentation, which
allowed our delegates to gain insight into some of the
ways they can implement such leadership habits into
their own routines. The participants expressed a high
level of satisfaction with this session and greatly
appreciated your time and the handouts on the topic.
It is because of committed individuals like yourselves
that the opportunities for developing leadership and
cooperation networks are actualized, and new insights
are translated into practice via initiatives and joint
programs for the empowerment of women worldwide. We look
forward to future cooperation with you.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Tanya Woynarowsky - Program Officer
Melanne Verveer - Chair of the Board

"Over the 10 years that I have worked with Dr Otazo her
advice and counsel as a life guide and coach comes from
the personal strength that defines who she is:
competent, empathic, smart and gifted with insight that
can go to your soul if she is permitted. She is rock
solid in her advice yet the advice somehow keeps pace
with this changing world "

You did a wonderful
job! How wonderful to fill a room with warm energy and
make it feel like we were in your living room. Simple
answers, practical, insightful, full of information yet
with no barriers between you and anyone in the room. I
truly feel blessed to have been a part of it.
The best part, the energy of your session flowed into
mine. I ended up with collateral glow. Thanks for making
a memorable hour, delivered in such a way so it will
seep back into my consciousness when I need a practical
insight, but also for helping make my session better.
I hope we get the chance to meet again.

"The
Dr. Karen L. Otazo has allowed the 'Divine' to enrich, bless and
empower us with detailed insights that make a difference. Simple
tenets for complex times. Elegant prose, proficient
wit, sweet charm, tried and tested expertise is what the
global business community needs...now. Like an ancient sage of
old, her still gentle prophetic voice is crying loud from the
wilderness of information clutter
and foolishness will guide us. Leaders will sing a "new song"
in a strange land."

"Dr. Karen Otazo worked with the
senior leadership team of the School of Public Health to address
mentoring and coaching as a critical skill in an academic
setting. She skillfully used the experience from their own
mentors as a basis for applying successful principals of
mentoring to mentoring their staff and junior colleagues. She
effectively guided us through a discussion of our own
experiences and shared her insights from working with executives
from other organizations. We benefited greatly from her
extensive experience and helpful suggestions. I am looking
forward to further opportunities to working with Karen"
